Athens may not be a fashion metropolis like Paris, Milan or New York

This week I am going to concentrate on Fashion week in Greece!
I know you will say now that Greece cannot be related with fashion but you are completely wrong!

Athens may not be a fashion metropolis like Paris, Milan or New York but that does not mean there is a lack of talented new designers and a dynamic fashion scene.

Not one but two fashion week’s showrooms are held twice a year, the Athens Fashion Week and Athens Xclusive Designers Week. Both events are hosting Greek and foreign designers.

AXDW supports new talents by offering the “NEW DESIGNERS AWARDS”.
What is “NEW DESIGNERS AWARDS” you ask?

Well designer need to represent their work to the fashion crowd and in order to win , the designer needs to get three important titles: Best Catwalk, Best Trend-Setter and Best New Designer!
