The city that Never sleeps

New York City
Manhattan

Movies that are filmed in New York city are all about the tall buildings, the million different types of people, the rush hour, the city life, models and celebrities walking in the street as they are ordinary people.

Well guess what? All of it is true!

When I first arrived in Manhattan I could not put my head down but watch all this huge buildings. It’s when I understood that it doesn’t matter how well someone explains you a situation if you haven’t seen it yourself.

Quote from Carrie Bradshaw
Sex and the city

So what is so special about the city that never sleeps?

Well I am not going to talk about the things that you already know, that’s the place of some of the worlds famous museums, the different attractions or the green lady (statue of liberty) ,but what I am going to talk about instead is Fashion, shopping and places you might not find on the internet but rather when you go there yourself.

For all shopaholics, there is no way you go to New York City and don’t return with one or two extra suitcases!

When you visit 151 West 34th street, one of the first stores you will enter if not the only one, will probably be the famous shopping mall Macys. It has everything you could wish to find, from makeup, accessories and shoes to all kind of high brands clothing. But did you know that if you are a non EU citizen you can get of 11 % off all goods you buy there?  Well now you do.

After visiting Macys it is time to go to the best place in New York City.

It doesn’t matter what style you have, if you love brands or can’t get enough of vintage shopping, Soho has it all. South of Houston Street has everything from high end brands as Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, and apple store and for the Kim Kardashian lovers the DASH store. But it also has some terrific vintage stores, small boutiques and that includes the superb shopping.

Soho is not only about shopping , it is the whole atmosphere of it, when you get tired of shopping and need a break , soho has also a immense variety of different kinds of foods, restaurants and cafes.

The last place a true shopaholic must go to is the Christiana mall.

This mall is not in Manhattan, but three hours away from New York city. I know you will think now why should I leave Manhattan that has everything I dream about to go to a mall three hours away. The answer is simple, It’s a TAX-FREE mall!

This mall is one of the most famous malls in America that has a huge variety of high end brands and casual brands, like Victoria secret store, apple store, Hollister, Abercrombie and fits, H&M sports village and so on. It consists of six massive buildings so get prepared to spend a whole day in there if not two!
